PROMOCOR has added a mono line to its product range which enables the supply of polypropylene monofilaments varying from 0.7 mm to 3.8 mm.
Due to the round shape of this thicker monofilament it is an excellent filling element for fiber optic cables. Monofilaments are used to fill and keep the circular core of the cable.
If you have any special product requirements for colours or constructions we will be pleased to look into the available options with our Sales Department.
We supply flame retardant low smoke zero halogen thermoplastic monos upon request. LSZH plastics are used for a special kind of cable called LSZH. They produce little smoke and no toxic halogen compounds.
Polyethylene (PE) are also available upon request.
