This product has been designed for the separation of the sheath of different cable types through ripping (tearing). Our raw material is Polyamide 6.6
Some of our ripcord references are twisted yarns with double direction (S-Z) with high twist level, some others are slightly twisted with single direction or even flat upon request to avoid marking the sheath of the cable. Flat ripcords can also be coated to avoid filament breaking during ripping processes. In all cases you obtain perfect unwinding while processing.
For coloured versions we can supply single colour ripcords or two/three different colours on one cord. Any combination with white, red, black, yellow, violet, blue, orange, green, brown and grey is possible under request.
